Zerg Roach Rush

Well I would suggest a roach rush but you must know a few things first. This guide will show you how and when to rush with roaches and when you stay away from making roaches.
The roach rush can be very powerful and effective if used right but it can also cost you the game if you use it wrong. Right the bat lets talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the roach unit, the roach does very high damage and is also a armored unit, so what does that mean? It means the roach will do very poorly against a marauder because the marauder does extra damage to armored units. The roach is very strong against a zealot, stalker, or marine. I would normally skip right over zerglings and build a roach warren as soon as the spawning pool is done.

Basic Build Order For Zerg

This is the standard build order for Zerg players; don't use this build order if you intend to rush. This build will allow for a very early expansion and relies on speedlings and banelings for most of the early game.
First, get 10 drones and then build on overlord. When the overlord finishes pump 3 more drones and wait until you get 200 minerals so you can build the spawning pool. After you start the spawning pool make one extractor and put 3 drones on it, then just make drones until the spawning pool finishes. Also keep checking all the possible expansion spots and attack any new base he tries to build.
The key to winning as a Zerg player is controlling the mineral gathering of your opponent, while you expand. We can't compete with a Terran or Protoss player if we let them expand and tech. Plus air defense is our weakness so make sure you scout and if you see him going air then make corruptors as fast as possible.

Zerg Vs Protoss - Beating Colossus and Immortals

Playing a Zerg vs Protoss game can be very frustrating if you don't know the correct counters for colossus and immortals. This guide will teach you the correct counters for the Protoss colossus and immortal.
First lets talk about the colossus. The colossus is a great unit for taking out groups of small units such as zerglings, roaches, or hydralisks. These are of course almost always the main attack units of a Zerg army so what unit do we need to use in order to take down a colossus? The answer is the infestor, the reason is because with the infestor's neural parasite ability we can take control of the colossus and turn it against the Protoss player for a short while. If the Protoss player makes both of those units then you should go all air by making corruptors and mutalisks.

Terran Unit Counter Guide

So you're playing Terran, in the middle of a 1v1 game. You've scouted your opponent pretty well and you have a decent idea of what kind of strategy he's using. One thing that will make you a successful Starcraft 2 player is your ability to counter your opponents units. I've put together a list of my favorite Terran counters.
Let's say your opponent is Zerg: If he Techs to Mutalisks I almost always go straight Vikings and Marines. Hellions, Siege Tanks, and even Mauraders will be much more effective.
Now against a Protoss Opponent: If they use a Zealot, Sentry, Stalker combo, I usually counter with Mauraders, Hellions and Tanks. Finally against an army of Colossus, Vikings will be the most effective, accompanied by Siege Tanks.
Generally though I'll try and counter my opponents units. If I see him going Bionic (Marines, Mauraders, Ghosts) I love to counter with Hellions and Tanks.

Protoss Guide - The Power of Immortals

The second is the immortal's huge bonus damage to armored units. However the immortal will die quickly to groups of smaller units such as marines or zerglings.
So when you playing against a Terran player you would use immortals if you see a lot of thors or tanks. But don't make any immortals if the Terran player is using a lot of marines and marauders. Now when you are playing Zerg there is something that most Zerg players don't realize but roaches are an armored unit and they do a slow attack of 16 damage, which means they take massive damage from immortals and 6 points of their attacks on immortals will be deflected. So to sum it up, immortals will simply dominate roaches and do very well against hydralisks as well as ultralisks. However, zerglings take immortals out pretty fast so watch out for that and use colossus to handle the zerglings instead of immortals.
